During this unit I learned how to better draw human faces and bodies involving certain details such as the spacing between each of the facial features, and how a very small detail can change a piece for better or worse, especially regarding faces; for example, if one eye is shaped slightly different than the other, it can really throw your whole project off.
I didn't really have any inspiration for this project, I don't have that many good/interesting original photos involving the body that I could use for this project. When I was finally able to find a good photo after digging through old family photos in the attic, the project was already over and we were moving on to the next one, and since there's only a few weeks left in the school year I haven't had time to work on something else for this project at all which really sucks because I wanted to to something better, and more interesting for this project! So I ended up doing a few prisma drawings of myself on some sticky notes, but I ended up really liking only one of them so I made that my final. I like the colors in my piece, but the concept of it isn't interesting to me, I wanted to do something bigger and with more movement. I still sort of like this project but it's not my favorite.
