1.) Describe the craftsmanship of your sculpture. (Is it neat and well executed?)
I feel like the craftsmanship turned out ok, but it definitely isn’t my best work. If I had more time to work on it and experiment with it I’m sure it would have turned out better. Besides, 3D art isn’t one of my strong points.
2.) What was the most difficult part of this project?
The main thing that made this project difficult overall was that I chose to do something that was more advanced than my current skill level, and more time consuming than what my schedule would allow. While it did challenge me and made me work harder and with something I wasn’t very experienced with, it really did become too much for me to handle at some point, which I believe caused my downfall in this project.
3.) Did your color choices work together harmoniously?
Yes, in fact, the colors are the thing I am most confident about in this project, and was also the reason why I chose to do a pomegranate in the first place.
4.) Is your sculpture interesting from all views?
Color-wise, yes; Shape-wise, no. The reason why I think that's the case is because:
5.) Describe the differences in constructing a sculpture and doing something 2D.
When doing 3D art/sculpting you have to think about how the piece looks from several different angles, give it a certain form, texture, etc. With 2D art you traditionally have to give a flat object the illusion of having a 3D feeling to it, like giving it depth or something like that.
6.) How did you create textures in your sculpture?
I tried my best to smooth out the seeds and the back of the pomegranate, I also attempted to give the back some texture but it didn’t really show through in the final product.
7.) Does your sculpture look like the actual food? How did you accomplish this?
Maybe, I don’t know.. It would probably look more realistic if you were really really hungry and you took a side-glance at it from far away in a very dark room.
8.) What would you do differently if you were to do this project again?
I would choose something that would be less complicated and actually fit my skill level and schedule for once so I wouldn’t have to work on it weeks after the deadline, but would still challenge me and help me improve my skills.

Color-wise, yes; Shape-wise, no. The reason why I think that's the case is because:
- I mean it’s a pomegranate slice, the back/skin is kind of plain shape/structure-wise.
- I was mainly focused on the seeds, and the front of the pomegranate slice that I didn’t really pay attention to the back and forgot to smooth it out, add a little texture, add the little spiky things that are located on top of the pomegranate, etc.
